CMPOA Board Meeting Minutes Sept. 11, 2013
The
meeting was called to order at 7:07 pm at the home of Diane Lekic. Present were:
Hiroo Shiba, Robyn Hall, Joe Steinbach, Darrel Del Duca, Jay Haworth, Diane Lekic, Doreen Smith, and Joe Wuest.
The August minutes were reviewed and then approved.

TREASURER’S REPORT
The balance in this
account for Waste Management services is $596.37.
There
are currently 126 households using Waste Management’s services.

UPDATE ON NEIGHBORS:
There was discussion about introducing families that have
moved into Columbine Manor within the past two years, at an upcoming social event

NEW BUSINESS
NEXT NEWSLETTER
The
next Manor Banner will be published in November. There was discussion about
article ideas including: announcement of the date of the Christmas party, a list of new families to Columbine Manor, an update
on driveway/fence repair, including volunteer status, a snow removal article, and the dumpster weekend recap.
2013 SOCIAL EVENTS
Review of Summer Picnic: Total expenses were $782.80.
Photographs that Annemarie Garber took at the summer picnic were viewed by the board.
OKTOBERFEST
Diane
Lekic, chair of this year’s event, outlined progress to date for coordinating the party.
Chairs have been ordered, and the permit to close the street has been received. Game supplies are being located. Liz
and Joe Wuest have volunteered their driveway and front yard for the event. The
Arellanos, across the street, have volunteered their yard for volleyball and badminton.
Brats and hot dogs will be ordered from Walmart.
Rsvps must be received by Diane Lekic or Diane Hicks before Sept. 25.
Board members will distribute the Manor Banner two weeks
before Oktoberfest. Flyers for the party will go out the following weekend.
XMAS PIZZA PARTY
There was discussion about the need to locate a Santa Claus for the party.
ANNUAL
MEETING
The annual meeting will take place
on Saturday, February 8th, 2014.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:42 pm.
