was called to order at 7:10 PM at the home of Hiroo and Hannah Shiba.

Report Balance:
The balance
as of 09/30/13 in this account for Waste Management services is $655.04.
This is a
net gain of $58.67 a result of Barnhill trash payment (09/13/13) income of
$83.67 and a $25.00 adjustment of an CMPOA due to the CMPOA checking account
(09/13/13).

Update on
Neighborhood
No homes in
the neighborhood are reportedly for sale. 5138 and 5148 W. Hinsdale are under
contract
Oktoberfest
Review (Diane Lekic)
Diane
reported this annual event was a resounding success. The following statistics
were reported:

(provided by the Reeds)

Volleyball
and badminton were reported to be a huge success.
Attendance:
A total of
86 people attended. There were only 21 RSVPs.

A motion to
accept the September 2013 minutes was approved by the board.

BUSINESS
The November
CMPOA board meeting will be held at the home of Robyn and Tim Hall on 11/13/13
at 7:00PM
New Board
Members Needed
There was a
discussion about the future of the CMPOA as five (5) of nine (9) board members
are approaching the end of their terms.

The
discussion centered on the need to recruit new members if the CMPOA board of
trustees are to continue to exist as a viable organization. Notification to the
community via newletter was discussed. Failure to enlist new board members
could result in dissolution of the CMPOA board of trustees.

Christmas Pizza Party – LuAnn McGuire & Hiroo Shiba
The board
decided not to have an Anonymous Gift Exchange nor a White Elephant Gift
Exchange.
Hiroo to
have a planning meet with LuAnn to discuss details. Annemarie was asked if she
would be able to get Santa Claus again for this year. As a backup, a board
member thought LuAnn could return as Mrs. Claus. Robyn Hall will put together
gift bags and will setup crafts area again this year.

Christmas Light Contest
The board
unanimously voted to host another Christmas Light Contest for Christmas, 2013.
The board will schedule the judging after a short December board meeting. The
contest will be announced in the next Manor Banner newsletter. The board
discussed four (4) possible categories for this year’s contest. Robyn Hall to
chair the contest and will lead in defining the criteria for judging winner(s).
Tentative
schedule at the December Board Meeting on 12/11/13 to be held at the home of
Darrell and Andrea Del Duca:
7:00 PM -
CMPOA meeting commences
7:30-7:40 PM
– Begin Christmas Light Contest judging tour of the neighborhood
7:40-7:45 PM
– The Board to render a decision on the winners.

Next
newsletter needs to be out before Christmas Party. The following tentative
dates were raised:

11/25/13: Distribute before Thanksgiving
