CMHOA Meeting minutes for the 5-9-2007 board meeting.

 

Attendees: Dwight Storm, Jim Barnhill, Larry Lekie, Darrel Del Duca and Candy Dixon

 

Meeting started at 7:10PM with a Prayer

 

Treasurer's reports were given by Jim Barnhill for the Membership and Waste Management and approved by the board.

 

Old business

 

The pruning demonstration given by Don Godi was attended by 14 persons 12 from the Manor and 2 from outside. Don gave valuable information to those in attendance.

 

Jim Barnhart and Darrel Del Duca have decided who will get the lawn of the Month award for their sectors. The winners are Judi & Scott Williams 5042 W. Fremont Dr. and Tammy Edgeworth & Lori Tyler 7102 S. Platte Canyon Dr. Each will get a $25 dollar gift certificate and the sign for Yard of the Month.

 

Garage sale is scheduled for June 23, 2007 Jim and Bob will place the ad in the news paper and erect the signs at the East entrances to the Manor.

 

The tree and yard sale Catalogs are available to look at Dwight Storm, Jim Barnhill, Candy Dixon and Darrel Del Duca have the Catalogs if any one is interested in looking at them.

 

Annual Picnic 

Dwight contacted Dean Ellefson about the barber shop quartet from Heritage High School and will get the contact name. Larry will check several locations to see if we will be able to buy Chicken for the event. There was discussion on using the calling tree to remind people if the picnic. We need to get a head count for the picnic in order to purchase food and beverage.

 

Dwight outlined the agenda for the annual meeting. Each board member will give their portion at the meeting.

 

Bylaw changes are.  

 

)  Article! - Last sentence to be changed to read as follows:

 

    "The By-laws are available for review on the Association web page assessable at http://cmpoaonline.tripol.com/ or a hard copy can be requested from any Board member of the Association."

 

2) Second Article VIII. Amendments to By-laws

 

    A typographical error needs to be corrected by changing second Article VIII to Article IX but does not need to be addressed at the Annual Meeting.

 

 

 

 

New Business.

 

We are still looking for potential new board members for the up coming year.

 

Darrel will get a group together to put up the Flags at the East entrances of the Manor.

 

 Articles for the June news letter need to be submitted by the 25 of May  so we can get the letter out by June 10^th.

 

Dwight outlined the 2007/2008 budged items. He suggested that we publish the Directory on an 18 month cycle to save on cost.

 

We need to get an inventory of all the items owned by Columbine Manor so we know where and what they are.

 

It was suggested that the by laws be put in the Directory at the next publishing.

 

There needs to be corrections to our Web Page the mission statement on the web page is not our mission statement. As of this time we don’t have one. Every one was asked to provide one for the next meeting.
