Treasury Report:
Old Business:
-
All curb numbers are painted except on Hinsdale.
-
Waste Management # is 112.
-
Web page complete but announcement was not in the October Manor Banner. Will go in December’s
issue.
-
Dean has two more examples of a speaker system from E-Bay. We need to decide on what kind of quality
we want for the money. Renting was suggested. Dave Hicks will go to a store and test quality vs. money and report
in November.
-
Oktoberfest is ready - we have 63 confirmed adults and 19 children. Annemarie has done a great job.
-
Halloween Parade is planned for 10/28 @ 3:30 PM. Have one volunteer but advertising has just gone out.
-
There is no state, county, city or district ordinance against door-to-door solicitors. Dwight has proposed
a trial ordinance in our neighborhood. Update in November.
-
October’s Manor Banner was fine. The majority of the members agreed that upcoming events should grace
the cover, the list of board members should go on the back except for the first issue after the elections and the president’s
notes could go inside. More discussion next month.
New Business:
-
Brief discussion on next CMPOA Directory. Last one was fine. Will keep advertising for members who would
like. Outside advertising for a price to be discussed at a later date.
-
It was voted and passed by majority that nonmembers will receive the following benefits that CMPOA members
have:
1. Manor Banner
2. Halloween party
3. Oktoberfest
4. Holiday
party
5. Winter social
6. Plant sale
7. Yard sale
8. Summer Picnic
9. Curb numbers
Nonmembers should not receive:
1. Phone Directories
2. Trash discounts
3. Yard of the month award
4. Dinner Club membership
-
Candy Dixon will host the November and December meetings in her home.
Meeting adjourned at 8:35 PM!
Respectfully submitted, Diane Hicks
