Our meeting opened with prayer at 7:05 PM.
In attendance were Dwight Storm, Jim Barnhill, Candy Dixon, Annemarie Garber, Larry Lekic, Darrel Del Duca Dean Ellefson
and Diane Hicks. Barbara Coward was our guest.
The minutes were approved after some corrections.
Treasury report:
- There are currently 114 participants in the trash program and only 99 members that have paid dues for this year.
We are 15 short. Annemarie was the only one who cad collected 100% from her sector. We have $4969.57 in the bank.
Old Business:
- Dean gave update on website. It is up and running. Diane thought the wallpaper was too political and we should
have something more benign. The idea was that it was not political, but American and after some discussion there was
a vote. The consensus was 7-1 to keep it the way it was.
- Annemarie and Barbara Coward reported on the block party and it will have an Oktoberfest theme. There will be food, games,
music and drinks. The permit is in the works and the street will be blocked off.
- Redistribution of social funds are as follows:
1. Winter/Valentines Day: $300
2. Annual Meeting/ Picnic:

3. Halloween

4. Block Party

5. Holiday Party

6. Poinsettias
$80
- Diane reported on the sound system. They range from $200.00-$500.00. Dean will go on Ebay to see what they
have there.
- Jim reported that Ace Hardware has 18’ flagpoles that include flags for $77.00 each. The thought was that
we should spruce up the entrances before putting up flags. We have $600.00 for entrances in the budget. We will
advertise in the Manor Banner for ideas and volunteers for a committee.
- County commissioner is looking into a no soliciting ordinance for our area.
- There are 10 people that want new driveways.
- Roles and responsibly due next meeting.
New Business:
- October Manor Banner dates given
- Longmont is having a neighborhood conference on Sept 30th. No one volunteered to go.
- Diane said she would check the sex offenders list occasionally and update committee
- Some talk about closing off Platte Canyon on the west end to help stop thefts and fast cars. Dean said it could
be a 3-year process.
- Annemarie wanted to advertise a web site against a Wal-Mart by Aspen Grove. Discussion was had about what should
go into the Manor Banner. We talked about an editorial page, first come first serve by date and they must be signed.
There was agreement.
- Discussion on benefits for non-members tabled for next month.
