Meeting opened at 7:05 PM
In attendance were Darrel DelDuca, Annemarie Garber, Joe Wuest, Jim Barnhill, Candy
Dixon, Bob Engel, Michael Derou and Diane Hicks.
March minutes approved with one change- Name misspelling.
Treasury
Report:
- 118 members have paid 2008-2009 dues as of 3/31/08
- 117 members have paid 2008-2009 trash as of 3/31/08
- Banks and books balance at $7,631.86 as of 3/31/08.
- Waste Management was paid
Old Business:
- Neighborhood cleanup is on the weekend of the 19th.
2 dumpsters will be delivered on the 18th and removed on the 21st. Meet at the entryways on Sat. at 10am to do cleanup. Darrell will remove junipers on each end on Friday to speed up process.
- Annemarie will look into hazardous waste dump in future
- Catalogs available from Darrell for plant sale
- Joe suggests we invite new potential new members to May meeting
- Directory will go out in July. Barbara Coward will
edit.
- Yard of the Month will start on the south end in June.
New Business:
- Joe will head up Annual Picnic. We will all help.
- Darrell will file annual report with the state of CO
- Review of budget shows that we are pretty much on target.
Nothing much adjusted.
- Want to spend some money on the front entrances. Still
looking for ideas
- We are going to put out a questionnaire at the picnic. We
will buy monogrammed pencils for this. The purpose is to find out what the neighborhood
participates in and why or why not. Also let us know how we are doing as a board
- Why does the city of Littleton want to raise our
sewer charges? Meeting on 4/15/08
- Don Godi gave us a presentation on how to spruce up the entrances.
Removing some of the old brick work and put up new fences. Thinks we should
ask to replace split rail fences and remove some of the signs at the entrances.
