·   There were only a few participants in the plant sale through Don Godi.

·   Front entrances look much better after removing old bushes, pulling weeds, and cleaning out rocks.  Board decided they look fine for now.  Maybe enlarge the signs.  Bob applied pre-emergence at south entrance.  Darrel will apply weed-b-gone to north entrance.

·   Roll-off dumpsters require a permit if parked on the street.

·   Annual neighborhood picnic discussion deferred until later in meeting.

·   June Yard-of-the-Month to be decided by June 1 by Candy, Bob, and Annemarie out of their sectors.  Darrel has one sign and shovel, Jim has other sign.  Candy will get $50 gift card from home Depot and get article into Liz for Manor Banner.

New Business

·   Green belt issues with Arapahoe county.  They notified homeowners of encroaching into open space.  Fences, etc. had to be removed.  Darrel has called Arapahoe county to inquire about weed control (mowing, etc.) in greenbelt and beside ditches along Platte Canyon.

·   Curb numbers – if any property owners would like theirs repainted just call a board member and we will do them for FREE.  Jim has paint and stencils.

·   Directory update – Each board member is to validate their sector entries, collect business card from any resident who wants to advertise.  Barbara Cowherd will edit in July.

·   Hazardous waste )paint, pesticides, fluorescent tubes, batteries, etc.) pick-up by Curbside Inc. is June 9.  Call 1-800-449-7587 to get a collection bag.  Fee is $20.

·   Littleton is having a Computer and Recycling Day on 21.  Candy will call for details.  (FYI – have to be a Littleton city resident, so we don’t qualify.)

·   There have been some incidents of animal cruelty in neighborhood.  A cat was shot by a pellet gun near north entrance to Hinsdale Circle.  The poor thing had 3 holes in its intestines.

Annual Meeting and Picnic – Sunday, June 22, 2008, 1:00 PM at Columbine Manor Park

·   Joe has obtained our permit.

·   Joe will purchase chicken at Albertson’s.  The remaining food is pot-luck.  Last names A-M will bring dessert and N-Z bring salad.

·   Darrel has some water, pop, and paper products.  He will inventory and buy any additional needed.  Since Darrel has 5 coolers, he will ice down the drinks.

·   Canopies – CMPOA has 2 stored in Bob’s shed.  Annemarie has one.  Will check with Dwight and Lee to see if we can borrow theirs.

·   Tables: Annemarie – 2, Joe – 1, Diane – 1, Darrel – 1

·   Games: water balloons – Mike, horseshoes – Annemarie, sack race

·   Invite any previous residents who have moved away.

·   Calling team will call everyone ahead of time.

·   There will be a separate flyer distributed about a week before the picnic.

·   A survey will be handed out at the picnic, filled out, and returned on the spot.  The Board wants feedback on how they are doing and if the needs of the property owners are being met.  Darrel has pencils embossed with CMPOA.  Candy will proof read it and get back with Darrel.

Meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.

Respectfully submitted by Candy Dixon
