CMPOA Meeting minutes for the 7/9/2008 board
meeting.
Columbine Manor Property Owners Association (CMPOA) meeting was called to order
by president Darrel Del Duca at 7:05 pm at the home of Bob and Myra Engel.
Those present were Darrel Del Duca, Hiroo Shiba, Hannah Shiba, LuAnn McGuire,
Jim Barnhill, Joe Steinback, Michael Derou, Bob Engel, and Joe Wuest.
Approval of special board meetings minutes was passed as first order of business.
Treasurer’s report for May and June was discussed by Joe W and approved
by the board members.
The board spent considerable time discussing the 2007 and 2008 CMPOA sponsored
activities, several were suspended for now. Volunteers were taken for all the pending activities for rest of 2008 and
through summer 2009. Volunteers as follows:
Block Party - Saturday Sept 20, 2008 - Joe Wuest and Michael Derou
Christmas/Holiday
Party – Saturday December 6, 2008 – LuAnn McGuire and Hannah Shiba
Christmas Poinsettias – December 2008

Summer Picnic and Games – Sunday, June 21st, 2009 –

Suspended activities: National Night Out, Halloween Costume Party/Parade, Easter
Egg Hunt, Garage Sale.
Darrel asked if we had any other old business to discuss. Joe W brought
up the budget – it will be discussed at August board meeting. We then moved to new business.
Joe S, Joe W and LuAnn were assigned July Yard of the Month duty.
Darrel handed out the sector assignments which incorporated all the new board
members. Each board member is responsible for Manor Banner delivery, greeting of new neighbors, and any other special
event notifications to their sector.
The calendar for the Manor Banner publication was discussed as well as additional
items of interest to share with our neighbors such as military members, recipes, luncheons, etc. All articles for the
August edition – need to be submitted to Liz Wuest by August 8. Liz and Jolene Elich have graciously offered to continue
supporting the Manor Banner.
