Columbine Manor Property Owners Association (CMPOA) meeting was called
to order by president Darrel Del Duca at 7:10 pm at the home of Jim and Marilouise Barnhill.
Those present were Darrel Del Duca, Hiroo Shiba, Hannah Shiba, LuAnn
McGuire, Jim Barnhill, Joe Steinback, Anna Marie Gerber, Bob Engel, Joe Wuest, Micki Fredderick, and Kagiyama Laurie.
Approval of August board minutes was passed as first order of business.
Treasurer’s report for August was discussed by Joe W and approved
by the board members.
Micki Fredderick brought an item for further board discussion. The Freddericks’ are doing some landscaping and have offered to include a Columbine Manor entrance
sign as part of the plan. Board would supply the sign as part of the landscaping. Board talked about getting assistance with possible designs and could be a project
for Spring 2009. Jim offered to look into getting sign design assistance as a
first step. Board also discussed signs for other unidentified entrances. More discuss to follow in future meetings.
The board spent considerable time discussing the details for the upcoming
Block Party on September 20th. Volunteers
from the board stepped forward to assist in setup for the party.
Board also discussed if there were any new ideas to get the community
members more involved. One idea was reactivating the Garden Club. We also discussed incorporating safety tips, swap items, recipes, snow removal, etc as items of possible
interest for the Manor Banner newsletter.
The Directory was discussed and final updates are due within the week. Everyone is to proof their section of the listing.
Old business regarding filing requirements of HOA, CMPOA is registered
with State of Colorado and item was considered as needing no further actions
by the board.
Next meeting will be held on October 8th at the home of Hiroo
and Hannah Shiba.
