Meeting minutes for 2009 Columbine Manor
Home Owners Association annual meeting
The meeting was held at the Columbine United
Church located at 6375 S. Platte Canyon Drive.
President Darrel Del Duca called the meeting
to order a 6:15 PM on February 21, 2009.
Bob Engle started off meeting with prayer.
Vice President Hiroo Shiba validated that
a quorum was present.
Darrel gave a state of CMPOA statement
as to the health of the organization. Our organization is in great shape with a total of 118 members, and also in good financial
shape. The success of our neighborhood events was brought up. Thanking all who attended and asked everyone present to bring
a neighbor to the up coming events. The more we communicate with our neighbors the better our neighborhood will become.
The Waste Management trash collection agreement
was discussed. We now have 116 members who have signed up for the Waste Management trash removal discount service provide
by you CMPOA board and Waste Management. We are saving over $90 dollars a year per household through this agreement. We have
signed a new contract that will take us through February 28, 2012...
Two persons were recognized for their outstand
work with the Manor Banner news letter.
Liz Wuest for editing the articles and
Jolene Elich for publishing the news letter
Treasure Joe Wuest gave the treasures report,
updating members on the amount of money we have in our account and reviewed the budget for 2008/2009 fiscal year and outlined
the budget for 2009/2010 fiscal year. A vote was taken and all treasure items were approved.
The formal meeting was adjourned at 6:40
PM.
The meeting was followed with a spaghetti
dinner provided by the CMPOA board and their valuable assistants, preparing and serving the meal. There were as usual many
great deserts brought to the meeting by the culinary experts that live in our neighborhood.
The
clean up committee did their usual find job of cleaning up the dishes and restoring the dining area to its usable format for
the church. A special thanks to all who participate.
After the dinner a raffles were held by
the CMPOA board one for the kids and one for the adults. The children were awarded Dairy Queen Coupons and the adults were
awarded 6 King Soopers Coupons valued at $25 dollars and one grand prize of $50 dollars.
