CMPOA Meeting minutes for the 6/10/2009 board
meeting.
The June 10th, 2009 CMPOA board meeting was called to order at the home of Hiroo
and Hannah Shiba at 7:10 pm.
Attendees: Darrel Del Duca, Michael Derou, Jim Barnhill, Annemarie Garber, Hiroo
Shiba, Hannah Shiba, and LuAnn McGuire.
First order of business was approval of May minutes. Minutes were accepted by the
board. No treasurer’s report tonight.
Next, the final planning of the June 28th Picnic was discussed. Joe
is leading the activities and has made a deposit on the BBQ and worked the permit from South Surburbam. Flyer to be
distributed amoung the neighborhood as a reminder next week.
Discussion of duties and items needed to support the event such as tables, coolers, games, etc. were discussed
by the board. Board members will meet at 11:30 am at Bob Engel’s house for setup.
Other old business discussed included the roll off container, greenway behind neighbor has been mowed, neighborhood
signs look fine and no comments on metal recycling project have been received.
Board members discussed June "Yard of the Month" details – determination to be completed yet this week.
New business discussed:
Houses in the neighborhood for sale break ins within Jefferson County – south of Ken Caryl, wildlife
in our neighborhood and being considerate of our neighbors.
More articles for the Manor Banner are needed– recipes, safety, gardening, letters to the editor, and
other ideas of interest to the neighborhood. Darrel handed out a calendar for the Manor Banner Newsletter schedule. Possible
hazardous materials pickup notice for August newsletter – Annemarie is investigating.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:28 pm, next meeting to be held July 8th at Annemarie’s
house.
