The July 8th, 2009 CMPOA board meeting was called to order at the home of Annemarie Garber at 7:08 pm.

Attendees: Darrel Del Duca, Joe Steinbach, Joe Wuest, Jim Barnhill, Annemarie Garber, Hiroo Shiba, Bob Engel and LuAnn McGuire.

First order of business was approval of June minutes. Minutes were accepted by the board.

Treasurer report for May and June was presented by Joe W. and accepted.

Next, Old Business items were discussed. The picnic was a success for the community and approximately 56 in attendance. Food, games, and conversation was enjoyed by all.

Dates and leads were assigned for the two remaining events in 2009. Oktoberfest has been set for September 19th from noon to 3 pm with Joe W as lead. The Holiday party was tentatively set for December 12th with Hiroo as lead.

Manor articles related to recognizing student awards were discussed for the August newsletter as well as more recipes, safety tips, etc.

Reminder to board members to bring forward any new neighbors to the community when known.

New Business included the yard of the month for July. The team will coordinate pickup and delivery to the July award winner within next week.

Recruitment of new folks for the board was discussed. Additionally, roles for August board meeting and Banner deliveries was brought up. Next meeting will be held at Michael Derou’s home on August 12th.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:11 pm.
