The January 13th, 2009 CMPOA board meeting was called to order at the home of Bob and Myra Engel at 7:07 pm by Hiroo.
 
Attendees:  Hiroo Shiba, Joe Steinbach, Joe Wuest, Mike Derou, Bob Engel and LuAnn McGuire.

First order of business was approval of December minutes.  Minutes were accepted by the board with no changes.

Treasurer report for December was presented by Joe W. and accepted.

Old Business:
Waste treatment follow-up will be done by all board members in their perspective area.  Due date for payments is February 1st.

Holiday party was discussed as another successful event.  Turnout and food was excellent.

Discussion turned to the Winter Social planned for February 13th as next item on the agenda.  Assignment of tasks was completed as follows:  Darrel – food, LuAnn – Gift cards and Decorations, Cooking, setup and cleanup by the entire board.  LuAnn offered to write up the winter social flyer for distribution and look at new name tag options.  Calling tree to be activated for RSVPs under Jim Barnhill’s guidance.

As a follow-up to the December meeting, the Board discussed the minor changes to the by laws regarding maximum number on the board and budget spend approvals – both to be presented to the members at the annual meeting.  Agenda for the meeting was reviewed and addition of recognizing new neighbors as another item of interest.

Newsletter items are needed for Manor Banner.   All board members to provide additional human interest items.

Motion to adjourn was passed at 8:10 pm.

Next meeting will be held at Joe and Liz Wuest’s home on February 10th.
