August 11th CMPOA meeting commenced at approximately 7:10 PM at the McGuire home.  Attendees were:  Joe Wuest, Darrel Del Duca, Robyn Hall, Annemarie Garber, Mo Redmond, Joe Steinbach, Hiroo Shiba, and LuAnn McGuire. 

 Approval of minutes from July was the first order of business.  Darrel presented the board with the treasurer’s report.   The treasurer’s report was approved by the board. 

 Old Business

No new meetings related to Open Space activity; however Jefferson County did install curb and gutter on North end of the space.

The status of the “No Solicitation” signs was brought up.  Action was taken to ensure all 4 signs are intact.

New Business

Block party date is coming up on September 18^th.  Joe W initiated the discussion of the event. The request to the county has gone in, fire department has been called and coordination of some of the duties has been discussed.  September meeting will set timing for the event.

Dumpster weekend is scheduled for weekend of September 24^th.  Dumpster will be located on W Hinsdale Circle for the fall event. Watch duties will be set at September meeting.  Recycling will not be occurring at the fall event.

Entrance painting of the turrets – Mo brought the paint to the meeting.  Date has been set for Sunday, August 29^th for spraying the entrances.  Coordination of equipment was discussed.

      August Yard of the Month was discussed and the team set a time to deliver the award to the winner yet this week.

Street number painting was brought up as another fall project, more to follow at future meetings.

Board adjourned at 8:00 pm, next meeting will be on Sept 8th at the home of Mo and Gary Redmond.
