September 8th CMPOA meeting commenced at approximately 7:08 PM at the Redmond home.  Attendees were:  Joe Wuest, Darrel Del Duca, Robyn Hall, Jim Barnhill, Mo Redmond, Bob Engel, Hiroo Shiba, and LuAnn McGuire. 

 Approval of minutes from August meeting was the first order of business.  Darrel presented the board with the treasurer’s report.   The treasurer’s report was approved by the board. 

 Old Business

Entrance painting of the turrets is complete.  Thanks to board members and families who worked to brighten and cleanup our two South entrances. 

The status of the “No Solicitation” signs was brought up.  Some of the signs are missing.  Darrel will talk with Don Godi about recommendations for sign replacement shop.

New Business

Block party date is coming up on September 18^th.  Joe W updated the board on event permits, activities, etc.  Board will meet at 10:30 am to grab canopies, tables and rental equipment for the event.  Hope to see lots of folks at the event.  Flyers for the event were distributed to the board members at the meeting. 

Dumpster weekend is scheduled for weekend of September 24^th.  Dumpster will be located on W Hinsdale Circle for the fall event.  Watch shifts for the dumpster were established for Saturday, September 25^th.

8 -11 am Hiroo and Lu; 10-12 Robyn; 12 -2 Bob E; 2-4 Mo

Street number painting was brought up as another fall project, more to follow at October meeting.  Team has enough paint and stencils for the project.

Manor Banner articles are due October 1^st.  Any articles of interest, please forward to Joe and Liz.  Christmas party article will be included as this is last Manor Banner before the event on December 4^th.

Board adjourned at 7:55 pm, next meeting will be on October 13th at Champs Restaurant back room, 7 pm.
