November 11th CMPOA meeting commenced
at approximately 7:08 PM at Del Duca residence. Attendees were: Joe Wuest, Darrel Del Duca, Annemarie Garber, Jim Barnhill,
Mo Redmond, Bob Engel, Hiroo Shiba, and LuAnn McGuire.
Approval of minutes
from October meeting was the first order of business. Darrel presented the board with the treasurer’s report.
The treasurer’s report was approved by the board.
Old Business
No solicitation signs are on order, thanks Darrel
for placing the order. Photos were shown on the proposed modifications to the open space between Columbine Manor and
Columbine Knolls. Any further movement on the project will be limited until funding of grants, etc. is received.
New Business
Christmas party has been set for Friday, December 3rd - details and the flyer to be incorporated into the Manor Banner in
late November. Annemarie confirmed the special guest who will be able to join us and is picking up a gift certificate.
Pizza and salad quantities were discussed. Lu is picking up some crafts and small prizes for the
kids.
Columbine Manor first Christmas lighting contest with gift certificates
to the top 3 houses was discussed. Decision was made that all residents are eligible for the contest. Contest
will be brought up at Christmas party as well as Manor Banner article.
Manor
Banner articles due by November 15th to ensure we get the details of December events to the residents in ample time.
Waste Management draft letter was reviewed and sent to the members for further review. Notice
to go out to residents so they can plan for the item.
Board discussed the listing
of folks for poinsettia deliveries in December. If you have someone in mind, please let a board member know. Annemarie
is coordinating the pickup and delivery of the plants.
Annual meeting
time has not been reserved yet, we are waiting on church to set the 2011 event calendar. Joe reminded all to do some
recruitment of new board members.
Board adjourned at 8:40 pm, next meeting will be on
December 8th at Joe and Liz Wuest’s home, 7 pm.
