January
12th CMPOA meeting commenced at approximately 7:08 PM at Garber residence. Attendees were: Joe Wuest, Darrel Del Duca,
Annemarie Garber, Jim Barnhill, Bob Engel, Joe Steinbach, Hiroo Shiba, and LuAnn McGuire.
Approval
of minutes from December meeting was the first order of business. Darrel presented the board with the treasurer’s
report. The treasurer’s report was approved by the board – several expenses presented
from December events.
Old Business
Christmas lighting
contest was deemed a success. Lots of participation on every block. Board would like to thank Joe
and Liz Wuest for hosting the board members and Tim and Robyn Hall for chauffeuring the board around Columbine Manor.
New Business
Approximately 27% of the residents have sent in their Waste Management payment. All
board members have been tasked to remind the remaining residents of the February 1st deadline. Darrel
is forwarding updates to the board members as the payments are received.
Budget for 2011 was presented
by Darrel to the members present. Some recommended changes were discussed and will be incorporated
into the spreadsheet.
Annual meeting time has been reserved for February 19th at
the Columbine United Church. Tasks related to the meeting were discussed. Darrel
is bringing the spaghetti fixings’, LuAnn is ordering the gift certificates for the raffles, and everyone is tasked
to bring new potential board members forward at the meeting.
Manor Banner articles are due by January
21 to Liz Wuest.
Board adjourned
at 8:20 pm, next meeting will be on February 9th, 7 pm at the Hall residence.
