The meeting was called to order by President Dwight Storm at the home of
Darrel and Andrea Del Duca. Present were Dwight Storm, Robyn Hall, Darrel Del Duca, Doreen Smith, Jim Barnhill, Bob Engel,
and Diane Lekic.
After the opening prayer, the first order of business was the approval of meeting minutes
from the Winter Social, held February 11, 2012.
Treasurer's Report and
Trash Removal Treasurer's Report were reviewed and approved.
Introducing New
Board Members
As part of a new series, each new Board Member will give a five minute autobiography. Secretary
Doreen Smith introduced herself to the Board this meeting. Diane Lekic will introduce herself at the April Board meeeting.
OLD
BUSINESS
Review of Feb. 11th Annual Meeting and Dinner
The event was very well-attended. Our
challenge is to find new ways to attract new attendees. Discussion included a strong interest in developing a plan to attract
more young people - this year's event was better atttended than the prior year.
Waste Management
and Member Renewal
Currently 120 households are signed up for service with Waste Management.
Currently
there are 121 Households that belong to CMPOA.
Review of 2012 Budget
Treasurer
Darrel Del Duca distributed detailed copies of budgeted expenses. The review of the document will take place at the April
Board meeting.
Additional Old Business
Plant Sale - Don Godi has offered to buy
plants wholesale and offer them at cost to our neighborhood. Darrel Del Duca will offer his home as a staging area. The projected
date is in May and details will be upcoming in the next Manor Banner.
New
Neighbor Baskets
Each Board member is responsible for preparing and delivering baskets to new residents in their
assigned sector.

Board
Statistics and Member Terms
Each member's term was reviewed and time served in each term was noted. A list
of the names and dates their current terms will expire will be included in the April Board meeting minutes.
Board
Member Sector Assignments
Each Board member received a map covering their sector. Each member is responsible
for delivering all Manor Banners and special announcement flyers to their sector.
Monthly
Board Meetings
The next Board Meeting will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 11th, at Dwight Storm's house.
Easter
Egg Hunt
Columbine Manor's annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Mo Redmond's and the neighboring Columine
Manor Park on Saturday, March 31st at 1:00 pm. Members to arrive at 12 noon for setup.
Proposal
of Changes in By-laws
There was discussion of future changes to By-laws exploring the possibility of some shared
Board positions. Discussion was tabled.
Proposed Dates of events
The
possibility of moving Oktoberfest to early October, vs. September, weather permitting, was discussed.
A
new type of event was discussed - a "Mystery Combined Event" to be held on the same weekend. This event could possibly include
showing classic cars, a garage sale, and open houses held by realtors. The event would include refreshments, possibly inside
the open houses.
Future Considerations
The Board discussed the
possibility of being able to offer discounts on hearing aids to members of CMPOA.
